About us
The Credit Reserve Association was founded in 1972, and is one of the oldest and strongest Ratepayers' Associations in Canada. We are proud of the contribution we have made to the planning, management and preservation of our unique neighborhood. Located in the Mineola planning district of Mississauga, we live amidst one of the finest examples of a mature urban forest.
Our Mission
- preserve and enhance the quality of life in our neighbourhood
- influence planning and development policies to allow appropriate renewal and redevelopment which respects our environment and area character
- promote strong working relationships with City Council and Staff, to provide input and guide development of policies and decisions that affect us
- communicate openly and regularly with all area residents, providing a forum for information, ideas, feedback and discussion
Our Area
Our charter boundaries are the QEW to the north, the Credit River to the west, the CNR railway tracks to the south and the Cooksville Creek to the east. In 2000, we welcomed the Carwood Association to join us, adding the streets of Kenmuir Avenue, Carmen Drive and Trotwood Avenue east of the Cooksville Creek.
